Acquiring skills through professional training
 

Between September and November 2005. the Roma humanitarian and charity organization “Mesec” from the village Krivolak, Negotino, implemented the project “Acquiring skills through expert training” whose goal was better integration of the Roma population in the municipality of Negotino.

The project covered two training courses. The first referred to the catering job and included eight candidates and the second one covered seven trainees who learnt the basic skills of computer work. Most of the trainees were Romas, however there were few Macedonians and Serbs. After the course (the first of that kind implemented in Negotino), the participants were given certificates. The project was financed by the Open Society Institute  - Macedonia.
