A NETWORK FOR LEGAL PROTECTION OF THE NATURAL AREAS IN THE SOUTHERN BALKANS 

Protection of the trans-border natural zones

In the beginning of last year started the project Building a network for legal protection of the natural areas in the Southern Balkans, where several non-governmental organizations from Macedonia, Greece, Yugoslavia, Bulgaria and Albania cooperate.

The project is part of the initiative OEDC/DAC and it is financially supported by the Government of Greece. Arkturos from Thessalonika and Nomos 21 from Athens are two organizations that manage the project and the coordinator of the activities from the Macedonian side is the Journalist legal enviro center ERINA from Skopje. The Ecologists Association and the Ecologists Movement of Macedonia.are also involved in the project.
