The World AIDS Day has been marked by lots of organizations worldwide, promoting, through the already recognizable red ribbon, protection as the most efficient means of preventing against this dangerous disease. Prevention is still the strongest option in that fight, until researches find the cure.

People with special needs are part of us
The World Day dedicated to people with special needs has a goal to induce their overall inclusion in the social living. People with special needs are part of us and when it is about a “handicap”, it may refer only to our ability to accept it.

“Pro” for human rights
The Human Rights Day should remind us that the fight for equality in the world has not been won. Human rights are violated in different countries, in different ways. The task of democratic societies is to help in the realization of these rights for all people, all over the world.

Biodiversity impoverishes
Towards the end of every calendar year we remind ourselves that biological diversity on our planet is decreasing. Unfortunately, every year we conclude that the trend is getting worse. Biodiversity gets poorer as a result of our activities and our duty is to prevent it, for the future generations. |
