WA Bisera, Ohrid Has Marked Its Jubilee    100 Years of Ilinden - 100 Years of the Macedonian State On 18 October 2003, the Women Association "Bisera" from Ohrid, member of the Union of Macedonian Women Organizations (UMWO), marked the jubilee 100 years of Ilinden - 100 years of the Macedonian state, by organizing exhibitions of handicraft and presenting the national treasure. NGOs from the broader region took part in the exhibition, which was also attended by women-guests from Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria who came to a return-visit to our country. Guest were also women from the NGO Refleksione from Pogradec and the Union of Women from Pustec, Albania. The exhibition was opened by the "Bisera" president and the historian Pavle Mitrevski spoke about the importance of Ilinden and the role of women in the past. The celebration of the jubilee continued in the evening with the traditional 9th in a row "Cake manifestation", which had a competitive character. The winner was Naumka Penezic with her cake "Krusevo Monument." This manifestation was supported by the Mayor of the local government from Ohrid.
