NGO Leadership, Development & Social Change 2004 Gateway Course

The International Institute of Rural Reconstruction offers a 3-week course enabling NGO leaders to develop and refine core competencies strategic to managing development organisations in an era of rapid globalization.

Content includes: critique of NGO social change strategies, concepts and theories of leadership, and characteristics of effective leaders. This course may prove valuable to NGO leaders, managers, trainers as well as development practitioners from government agencies, donors, and consultancies. The course is also the "gateway" to some on-line courses and a postgraduate curriculum at the School for International Training in Vermont, US.
