Campaign for fight against HIV/AIDS
Promotion of messages created and directed to the young people
The non-governmental organization H.E.R.A. - Health Education and Research Association has marked the month of fight against HIV/AIDS. Within this years' campaign for fight against this disease, they announced a competition for the best poster for young people between 14 and 20 years of age.
Daniel Stamenkovski from Makedonska Kamenica and Nina Stojceva from Skopje were chosen the best and were also awarded. The goal of this years' campaign is to promote messages regarding the HIV/AIDS problem in the Republic of Macedonia. The creation of the message has also meant creating a visual solution, calling the pubic to face the problem through solutions that ought not to be frightening or judging. The winner of the first prize received a computer, a printer a scanner and a free ON NET Internet for a year. The second prize was one year free ON NET Internet and all the other participants received Internet -cards. A special prize at the competition was awarded to Remzi Murat, student at the State High School for Rehabilitation and Education "St Naum Ohridski" from Skopje. He was awarded with painting equipment and tools and ON NET Internat. The best solution was announced through the public media on 1 December 2003 and it is being used for raising the public awareness of the HIV/AIDS 2003.
