62 - Million-Euro Programme for Croatia

On 6 June, the European Commission launched the Euro Programme for Croatia that will support several initiatives with the total amount of 62 Million Euros in 2003.

This Programme is part of the process for help to Croatia on its way to the euro integration. The Programme will be realized through the Croatian government in the following fields: economic and social development (17.5 Million Euro); democratic stabilization (17 Million Euro); legal and internal affairs (12 Million Euro) and building administration capacities (11.8 Million Euro). These assets will be implemented by the European Commission in direct cooperation with the Croatian government, and with wide involvement of the whole Croatian society.
