Bridge Of Tolerance Across Sana River

"Days of the river Sana" are taking place for the fourth time this year. It is a project initiated in 1999 and financed by OSCE. The municipalities from the Bosnia and Herzegovina Federation and the Serbian Republic joined their efforts to organize this event. For the first time this year, representatives from the municipalities Kljuc, Sanski Most, Ribnik, Srpski Sanski Most, Prijedor, Bosanski Novi Grad have organized the event with help from several non-governmental organizations.

The celebration of "Days of the River Sana" includes sport tournaments, concerts and activities for protection of the environment, such as cleaning the riverbed. The representatives from the municipalities have forgotten their political differences to make this event successful and realized many close mutual contacts.

The celebration has successfully promoted the inter-municipality and international relations, including the signing of a Declaration for mutual cooperation and environmental protection.
