Calendar 5 March: Let us save energy  The world day for energy saving should remind us of the energy sources deficit, especially of those that cannot be renewed.    8 March: Women’s day  The World Women’s Days is traditionally marked in many countries. Besides the respect we express to all women, the goal of this day is to appeal for respect of the women rights all around the world.    21-28 March: Environment days  The daily newspaper “Nova Makedonija” is traditionally organizing the celebration of the eco-week, which starts symbolically, with the first day of spring.    22 March: Protection of the water  In the future, the water will be more expensive than the gold or the oil – those are the ecological prognoses. That future is getting nearer and nearer, since the water, especially the drinking water is becoming a rare source on our planet.   23 March: Meteorologists’ day  The meteorologists are celebrating the day dedicated to their science on the 23rd of March. The World Organization of Meteorologists at the UN traditionally marks this day, reminding of the importance of the meteorological estimations, forecasts and analyses for all segments of people’s life and the global eco-system.
