National youth training course for human rights education

From 15 - 21 December this year in Bitola, the Human Rights Centre "AMOS" will carry out a national youth training course for human rights education, supported by the European Council and the Young and Sports Directorate - within the Youth Programme for Human Rights Education.

The goal of this course is to develop the competence of the participants who will work on human rights education on local and national level and to provide them with the necessary skills to facilitate the human rights education, especially through the projects' development that will have an impact, foremost and mainly on basic level - both in the informal and formal education.

This course is designed for participants who are, or work as: trainers active in the informal education, especially in the youth organizations and associations, in the youth activities or other NGO's who work in the field of human rights education; and teachers active in the formal educational system.

The applications have to be sent to the Human Rights Centre "AMOS" - Bitola, together with a supporting letter from the organization or institution that sends it. Application deadline is 5 November 2003. The travel costs will be covered for the price of a return bus ticket. The accommodation and food will be provided by the Human Rights Centre "AMOS" - Bitola. The training will take place at the "Molika" Hotel-Bitola.
