Mauro Pagani at a humanitarian concert in Skopje 1 300 Euros raised in one evening   On 24 March, at the Universal Hall in Skopje, the Italian musician Mauro Pagani gave a humanitarian concert at which 1,700 Euros were raised – a donation for the oncology ward at the Clinic for Children Diseases in Skopje. The money was collected in boxes placed at the ….of the hall and it will be used for improving the conditions for treating twenty young patients. Every year, the Italian star Mauro Pagani gives humanitarian concerts worldwide, and the concert in Skopje was one of the ten concerts planned for this year. Pagani is also known to the world as the author of the music of three films by Gabrialo Salbatores, and his interest in music is also related to researches in the folk music of the Balkans. The concert was organized by the Italian Embassy in Skopje, the Skopje Jazz Festival and the Macedonian Association for Fight Against Cancer and Leukemia of Childen - “Peperutka”.   K.B.
