Training and Capacity Building of Local Self Government Institutions
An EU-funded project managed by the European Agency for Reconstruction
Job offer for 12 interviewer positions
TRAIN, a training and capacity building program for local authorities is executed by VNG International (Netherlands Association of Local Authorities), managed by the European Agency for Reconstruction and with the Ministry of Local Self Government as the beneficiary.
Around 500 local civil servants will be trained in two years. Special attention will be given to the urban planning departments.
The project starts with a training need analysis: Knowledge Mapping Survey
The project is recruiting 12 (twelve) local interviewers to undertake a questionnaire / survey within Local Self Government Institutions in Macedonia. It is anticipated that the survey will take place between October and December 2004. Please note that these positions are for the duration of the survey only.
Senior interviewers (two positions)
These interviewers will be recruited for 50 working days. You will have a extensive working experience and have a University degree. Some experience with conducting interviews and some knowledge of training or experience as a trainer would be an advantage. Experience with internationally funded projects would also be an asset.
Junior interviewers (ten positions)
These interviewers will be recruited for 24 working days in a six-week period, which is four days per week. Possessing a University degree is preferable. Knowledge of training or experience as a trainer would be an advantage.
General Information
All successful candidates will receive full training in interviewing skills and in the use of the evaluation questionnaires.
The working language of the project is English. Besides Macedonian, knowledge of other languages which are spoken in Macedonia is an advantage.
