INFORMATIVE CENTER FOR CIVIC SOCIETY
European Human Rights Convention Implementation
On 28 February this year the Informative Center for Civic Society promoted the book “The Influence of the European Convention for Human Rights Protection on the basis of the national law and practice”, as well as review on the successful realization of the project “Practical European Human Rights Convention Implementation”. Guided by the fact that the European Tribune for Human Rights is an institution which enables the individual to ask for justice if his human rights are violated in one of the European Council member countries, the Informative Center for Civic Society started its pioneer work in this field in 1997 and completed it in the year 2001, organizing several experts seminars for lawyers (more that 70 lawyers and other professional were trained), publishing the most relevant literature in this area and distributing it to all relevant and interested factors in the country, and finally realizing two successful interventions on national level through the systems of the European Tribune for Human Rights.
