Areas under protection in the South-Eastern Balkans

The NGO network "Balkan-Net", which has participants from Greece, Yugoslavia, Albania and Bulgaria, has published the book "Areas under protection in the South-Eastern Balkans" in English. It presents reviews and researches in legislation, large carnivores and certain over-boarder natural zones in the region.

The book is financed by the Greek Ministry of Environment, Spatial Planning and Public Affairs. Its publishing was coordinated by the association "Arkturos" from Greece, and the partner organization in Macedonia is the Journalist-Legal Enviro Centre - ERINA. The Macedonian Ecological Association took part in the preparation as well.
