International Electronic Arts Festival

 
The International Electronic Arts Festival, which promotes the artistic expression of the modern visual and multimedia artists from the USA and Macedonia, took place between 1 and 9 October in Skopje.

The Association for international cultural cooperation BALKANIK organized the festival and it was realized within the first phase of the project for cultural exchange between USA and Macedonia. Video projects, project on the Internet and media design and electronic music were presented, and the American and Macedonia trainers gave thematic lectures and workshops. Several artists and electronic music performers took place, as well as high school and university students, and the Festival was taking place at the Centre for mental health of the communities, the Element club, the Museum of Macedonia and Kursumli An. Its realization was supported by the Centre for Modern Arts, FOSIM, Museum of Macedonia, Centre for mental help of the communities and "Drive - Through Studios" from Chicago.
