A visit Hard-of-hearing students were introduced to the Macedonian handicrafts   On 18 October this year, students from the Center for hard-of-hearing student rehabilitation “Koco Racin” from Bitola, visited the Handicraft Workers’ Association “Makedonski rakotvorbi” located in their home town. The visit gave students an opportunity to become familiar with the association’s activities, as well as to gain knowledge regarding the Macedonian national tradition and culture and enrich their artistic-creative skills. For that purpose, the volunteers from “Makedonski rakotvorbi” realized workshops for designing jewellery, eco-flowers, Macedonian national embroidery, painting, ceramics and wood-carving. The students showed great interest in making handiworks of that sort, and the teachers offered the opportunity for cooperation between the Center and the Association. The meeting, as well the handiwork made in the last period are an example of the civic initiative contribution to improving the overall social living.   G.Sh.
