Preparations for the next Forum of the Civil Society The Sixth NGO Fair will take place in 2007  The Macedonian Centre for International Cooperation (MCIC) and the Macedonian Civil Platform Committee inform that the next (6th ) NGO Fair – Forum of the Civil Society will take place in the course of 2007. After having organized the Fair for five years in a row and taking into account the findings and the recommendations from the 5th NGO Fair – Forum of the Civil Society, we have come to the conclusion that the concept of the event needs to be changed and that a new approach towards its financing has to be adopted due to the changes in the context. For that purpose, until the end of 2006, MCIC, together with the interested members of the Macedonian Civil Platform and other interested actors will be engaged in changing the NGO Fair’s concept and designing a sustainable strategy for its financing. Until the 6th NGO Fair – Forum of the Civil Society, the Macedonian Civil Platform through its programme will provide other forms of presenting the civil society organizations to the public, such as: publications, regional fairs, workshops, theme forums, training courses and other meetings”, states the public announcement.   G.Sh.
