“Kanal 5” received the award of the civil society
The TV station “Kanal 5” is this year’s winner of the civil society media award, which the Macedonian Institute for Media gives to the medium that contributed most to the development of the civil society in Macedonia in the previous year. The winners of the awards in the other categories are: “Utrinski Vesnik” – a medium that has contributed most to promoting the civil sector on national level; the weekly magazine “Monitor” – for its contribution in promoting the civil sector on local level; and the morning programme “Ranoden”, broadcasted on A1 TV in the category of programmes or shows in the electronic media that contribute most to strengthening and promoting the civil sector. The daily newspaper “Dnevnik” received an award for columns in the printed media that contribute most to strengthening and promoting the civil sector.
