May – a month of youth, a month to remember
May, the month of spring, the month of youth (25th of May is still remembered by many people), this year, among the other things was marked by two events related with different forms of civic association. The first one, the civic protest organized in the Skopje municipality Cair on the occasion of the murder of three young boys and six injured people in an Internet – cafe, showed the profound dissatisfaction of the young and the older Cair inhabitants against the possession of weapons.
Q & A
Civil society organizations and politics
In the pre-election period, as it usually happened before, surges occurred that have also affected civil society organizations, independent of their will. So part of their activities have been qualified as party campaigns by representatives of the government or some political parties, and the organizations themselves as party colored. A lot of questions are imposed as a result of such conditions: Do political parties use (misuse) civil society organizations and their leaders to realize their own goals? Do members of the civil society organizations use their own organizations for promotion of some party agenda? Can members of civil society organizations be members of political parties and actively involved in the party policy?

Three leaders of the civic sector have shared their views on part of these questions

The children are people who have never lead a war
The children are special people. They are neither national nor religious army leaders. They are people who have never fought a revolution, or counter-revolution or lead a war. The children are neither class nor a national issue: they are an issue above all issues.

The consequences of the Chernobyl catastrophe are a serious obstacle factor in the economic construction of Ukraine
There have been twenty years since the horrible date, 26th April 1986, when the biggest technological catastrophe in the history of humankind happened – the nuclear-plant accident in Chernobyl. I remember very well the first moments when the citizens of Kiev found out about the accident. There was big ignorance. No one except the experts had contact with the atom and some new terms occurred at the time: radionuclides, heavy metal pollution, radiation etc.

How to get to successful “multi-culti” activities
Principle of neutrality
onsidering that there is no need to explain the genesis of the term neutrality as it is easily understandable, in this text I would like to refer to several aspects of neutrality that can contribute to successful realization of multi-ethnic projects. It means that the focus will be on: neutrality in the project team, neutrality in the place of your main activity and neutrality of the contents of your messages in the project
